Hello,
welcome to my blog. I wanted to use my very first post as an opportunity to introduce myself and tell you a little about the challenges facing someone like me who is learning to use new technology.
I am a part-time childcare provider and full-time student currently working towards an undergrad degree in education. I started my educational journey a few years ago and I was immediately thrust into the world of technology. I had not attended school in years and back in the "stone ages", we used something called a typewriter to complete our papers(I never learned to type and I always had to pay my sisters to type papers for me), so you can imagine my surprise when I was first introduced to a computer.
I've made a lot of mistakes along the technology road to get to this point, but I'm here. I have written more papers that I care to recall. I own an Ipod,cellphone,web cam, and more. I can upload, download, rip, and burn media in various formats and now I AM BLOGGER!!! Wow, who knew? My blog will eventually be all about summer and I'm really looking forward to that. I love music and I was able to find this very nice free application so that I can enjoy all of my favorite music. I'm really enjoying getting out of my comfort zone and learning about all of the things that will be available to me both now and down the road in my own classroom, blogging will be one of the many way I plan to involve both my students and their families in the learning process.

Love your blog! I also like all the apps. I miss summer. I've always been a winter kind of girl but this winter might be the last year for that. I work as a childcare provider as well. I love my job :) What age children do you work with?

I was one of the few who showed up at the cancelled meeting the first week of classes and we were stressing about the non-linear powerpoint that we had to do. How long did it take you? I am too embarrassed to tell how long it took me! I have been hoping to run into you on campus but no such luck! I really enjoyed reading your introduction blog...you do a good job of sharing about yourself and your picture says that you like to have fun. Neat idea for your title...it gives away your personality! I wish you the best of luck with school and hope to bump into sometime in the mad dash between classes!
